Dear Parents, 

Due to the persistent, heavy rain and the flooded roads surrounding the village, we have made the decision to close school immediately to allow both children and staff to get home safely before the flooding becomes impassable.

Please collect your child as soon as possible.  If you have made arrangements for another parent to collect your child, please inform us via email to enquiries@churchbroughton.derbyshire.sch.uk.  

We are serving an early lunch at 11:15am so children will have the opportunity to eat before they are collected.

Many thanks for understanding, please take care on the roads because there is flood water on all roads leading into the village.
