Reminders12 September 2023 (by Andrew Rudge (arudge)) |
Dear Parents,
We hope this finds you well - we have had a good start to the year with all children coming back to school ready to learn. The new reception children have adapted to school-life exceptionally well and are enjoying their new learning.
Reminders:
Tomorrow night (13.09.23), we have our first Fundraising Team meeting of the year in school at 6:00pm. It would be great if you were able to offer support in arranging events such as our discos and May Day. If you need to bring children, that will be fine.
Thursday night (14.09.23), we have the Parent information evening for children in Class 3 who will be going to Whitemoor Lakes in March. This will be in school at 5:30pm. If you need to bring children, that will be fine.
Friday 15.09.23, individual and sibling photographs. If your child has younger siblings and you wish to have a photo with them and their brother or sister in school, please arrive at reception at 8:30am.
Friday 22.09.23 - Welcome Party (3:30pm - 5:00pm) - Please save the date; further information will follow tomorrow night's Fundraising meeting.
Friday 29.09.23 - Harvest Festival in church (9:30 - 10:30) - Families are all invited to join us. We ask that children bring in a food donation that will be delivered to a local charity.
Friday Afternoon Celebration Worships (2:45 - 3:15) - All families are invited to join us for these worships on any week. School will contact you if your child is receiving an award.
Young Voices consent letters - we sent these out for all children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 before the summer. Thanks to those of you who have returned these. For those who haven't, we will reissue these today. Please complete these before Friday 15.09.23 so that we can confirm booking for this exciting event in January.
Drop-offs - please remember school gates open at 8:45 and close at 8:50 ready for registration. Pease try and ensure your child is here on time at the start of the day. If your child is late, please bring them to reception.
Best wishes,
Mr Rudge
